Olexiy Soshenko, our Managing Partner, recently shared insights on our formal Partnership Track in response to CEE Legal Matters’ query. We’re excited to unveil what it takes to join the Redcliffe Partners family!
At Redcliffe Partners, the formal partnership track is a gateway to becoming a partner. Olexiy delved deeper into the qualifications sought in candidates, which extend beyond technical prowess.
“There is a formal partnership track, which must be completed, to become a partner. Apart from excellent technical skills, we expect from a candidate a good mix of qualities and business skills, such as the ability to develop clients, being a team player, a mentor, and a role model for junior colleagues, being visible in the market and recognized by peers.”
But there’s more to it! Olexiy said that specific requirements include presenting a compelling business case showcasing profitability in the candidate’s overall practice.
“As to more specific requirements, that is obviously a business case which should be proved by the candidate showing certain level of profits of the overall candidate’s practice, with a certain percentage from that pool being originated by the candidate, etc. If it is a new practice, the development and growth of that practice must be shown.”
Crucially, Olexiy emphasized the importance of chemistry between candidates and the existing partners.
“There must be a good chemistry between the candidate and the existing partners. After all, we are looking for long-lasting partnership relations!”
Olexiy also expressed pride in the fact that there have been several inspiring career journeys at Redcliffe Partners.
“We are proud that we have had a number of senior lawyers who have successfully developed and grown at Redcliffe Partners to be promoted to partners.”
Join us on this exciting journey towards partnership at Redcliffe Partners!
