Denys Medvediev is a Counsel in the Antitrust practice with solid experience in competition law.
Denys has a track record of more than 200 cleared transactions, including obtaining clearances for high-profile M&A deals, establishment of JVs, creation of a purchasing alliance, and eco/sustainability initiatives among competitors. Denys regularly advises clients on the competition law aspects of distribution agreements (in particular, on sales schemes, discounting and bonus programmes, and marketing campaigns), as well as on unfair competition aspects of advertising, use of trademarks, packaging, etc. He has extensive experience of representing clients in abuse of dominance, cartel and unfair competition cases.

- one of the world’s largest generic drug companies on the protection of its rights in an unfair competition case (i.e., the use by the client’s competitor of a similar packaging design for its drugs, that can mislead consumers)
- a major Ukrainian wholesale distributor of tobacco products in one of the most high-profile abuse of dominance cases of the past few years
- one of the biggest pharma distributors in Ukraine on appealing the AMC’s decision to impose a fine in a cartel case (i.e., alleged concerted practices of a global pharmaceutical company and its Ukrainian distributors)
