Anastasia Usova, Head of the Antitrust practice of Redcliffe Partners, and Nataliya Kovalyova, Senior Associate, prepared an expert commentary on a recent case where the AMC imposed a record-breaking fine of EUR 1.9 million for a company’s failure to obtain merger clearance for a concentration in a heavy industry sector. Importantly, according to the AMC, the Transaction did not raise any competition concerns in Ukraine.
