Ario Dehghani and Viktoria Shevchuk, lawyers with Redcliffe Partners, have prepared an overview of recent anti-corruption developments in Ukraine. The article outlines new anti-corruption measures implemented during 2017, in accordance with Ukrainian obligations based on prior arrangements with the EU and the IMF.
In particular, the scope of persons obliged to file e-declarations was extended, a standard anti-corruption programme for legal entities was adopted, and several methodological recommendations were accepted and introduced by the National Agency on Preventing Corruption. However, the long-awaited anti-corruption court has still not established.
