Maria Koval is a Counsel and Head of the Intellectual Property practice of Redcliffe Partners.
Maria is a Domain Name Arbitrator of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Arbitration and Mediation Center.
She specialises in all intellectual property issues, including trademarks, designs, inventions, domain names, copyright, trade secrets and data protection matters. Maria has a long track record of advising multinational and Ukrainian companies on various IP issues such as possible rights infringements, strategies on IP rights protection, licence and franchise agreements. Maria regularly handles litigation on various Intellectual Property issues.
Her experience covers a wide range of sectors including TMT, advertising and marketing, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, food and beverage.
Before joining Redcliffe Partners, Maria practised intellectual property law for more than 12 years with Krylova & Partners (Nevinpat-Ukraine) and for more than three years with Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm.
